i use asda petrol m8 and i chucked 1/2 a bottle of redex or something like that in my tank when it only had 70 odd miles in it and then run it almost empty too about 3 miles, then put the other half in the tank then filled up and did that twice in the space of a week and a half and noticed absolutely diddly sqwot. not saying it doesn't work but just did nothing for my 2.2direct. altho my mot emmissions result came back absolutely perfect (mot last week and i used the redex 3 month ago so who knows.)

Used Redex on the past on my old Astra ( whipped out the plugs, injected some in, covered turned over a couple of times, then plugs in, and smoked fo Britain as I burned out the crap). But dont think modern reasinably low milage engines need it now do they?
If the engine management system runs the show, would adding it to the petrol make any difference?

I put a bottle of Redex in mine not long after I had it, and noticed nothing at all. Now I stick to V-Power - it's a couple of extra quid each tank but prevention is better than cure, eh?
