My partner at work (who ive been crewed up with for 10 years) has just ordered a brand new Astra VXR.... to say Im envious is an understatement....the only thing is his delivery date isnt until early june..just in time for the summer....lucky, lucky git !!!!
I must be getting on a bit, coz, the more I look at it, the more I think the VXR looks a bit vulgar. It's a bit too in-yer-face for me. Some people slate the Focus ST for being a bit too opposite of this, but I prefer the Q-car look these days.
I think I'd rather have a tuned 2.0T Sport Hatch and surprise a few more peeps!
Since you're much less likely to see police patrol cars these days....and vastly more likely to encounter speed cameras.......there's less of a case for an anonymous Q car nowadays.

VXR... no good for me and all the prams/gear that comes with a 1 year old!

Of course you could save the cost of the roofrack and tell the missus to go to Tesco on her own. You nip out as soon as she's round the corner for a blast in your VXR.

Rather have the VXR Vectra though....
