    Default should i/shouldnt i

    Thinking about changing the 3.0 signum to a vectra vxr estae as I now have 2 dogs to carry around. What kimd of mpg could I expect and can I fit a towbar to a vxr estae for the caravan???

    yer go for it,i will be after the new year not botherd with mpg really just want a vxr estate

    I think you will see a big difference in mpg but unleaded is cheaper than diesel which will help lower the blow to your wallet. Your road tax will go up to the high rate which is £400ish I think and your insurance will go up too.
    Why not go for a diesel estate with the same engine as you have now or drop to the 1.9 150 like me and have a remap. I pull a foldup camper and I dont know its there until I look in the mirror. At the end of the day its your choice.

    Go for it m8, especially if your not bothered about MPG.

    Fuel wise you can expect around 24-27 normal driving town/a roads on motorway though you will early 30's if your nice on throttle.

    Gun it though and it will drop into early teens worst i've seen on full whack is 9mpg., but I love it.

    Oh and you won't even know your towing till your at 120 and the caravans gliding in the wind behind you.

    towbar wise, iirc you can only have the very costly vx supplied and fitted one one.......other than that go for it mate......

    i thought i read somewhere they have ditched the new car taxing plan for now.
