OK - they say they'll take a spray in the booklet.

Any personal tips - roughen up / light dust of plastic primer ?

    Cheers

None of that for mine. Just a couple of light coats of paint and then a couple of lacquer. Was worried that metallic paint would affect the sensors but it didn't. Was worried that the paint might come off but it hasn't, even during washing.

you could key the surface with a scotch bright pad or some very fine wet nad dry to give a good surface for the paint to adhere to

Tha's exactly what I did. Finely sanded to rough the plastic, then used Halfors plastic primer and Vauxhall's colour match spray. The VX tins come in a £10 for a pack of 2 small cans of paint & laqeur.
    Looks mint.
