    Default Is it poorly?....

    on way home tonight thought it was something on the stereo but it wasnt.... the noise went dhuh dhuh dhuh dhuh dhuh etc...think is sounds like its coming from the nsf wheel/tyre i may be wrong? any ideas? i had a quick look at the tyre but seems ok

    best get it checked out asap just incase it's serious, could be a wheel bearing

    if it was the bearing wouldnt it be only doing it when i turned corners? it only does it in a straight line

    When my n/s front bearing was on its way out, it only made a sound IN a straight line at speeds above 30mph. Never made the sound when pottering around, turning at T junctions or roundabouts.

    anybody got any matches then????????? just swopped tyres front to back etc,only does it at very low speeds in a straight line,nothing stuck in the tyres,no cats eyes. got my car and my mates 05 reg design jacked up at work....nsf wheel off the floor,get hold of the wheel and tyre with hands at the quarter to 3 postion..there is slight play/movement without engine running on both cars, when started up the reduces on both cars, so is this normal?????

    Have you done an emergency stop recently? you could have a flat spot on the tyre, this does that. hth.

    And check the pressures.
