has anyone fitted reverse sensors to a vectra esate and did you remove the bumper? also is there any grommets for the wiring to go through?

not on the estate as the sensors go in the lower trim and there are no markings for them, but that is not what i want to know

you don't need to remove the bumper. Sensors go on the black trim. No drill marks so make a common sense choice. Take a look behind before you drill as there is a solid metal bar which you don't want to go near.
From memory there is a rubber grommet covering a suitable hole, just pop underneath for a look then feed the wires through and feed towards the fuse box on the nearside.

When I fitted them to my 2007 XP estate the guide markers were stamped in the back of the bumper, and there are a few well placed gromets into the boot.
