    Default Classic Nu-Labour

After Gordon Brown has told us all how he 'saved the world', another classic quote from the Nu-Labour lie machine.

After stating that our new aircraft carriers will be two years late, they've stated "they're not delayed, we're just taking longer to build them'.

I think they need to look up the meaning of 'delayed' in the dictionary.

At least he has a sense of humour about the mistake about saving the worlds bank, instead of UK banks. When Cameron layed into him about it, he could laugh.

Only one word for the governement in my book ---> IDIOT's!

I wonder what phrase he will use for his short-lived stint in power.....maybe:

"He was only covering fror David Cameron while he was undergoing training"!!

"Idiots"? Why? Because they're trying to shorten the recession with the use of fiscal policy? Would you prefer the 1980's/90's Conservative mantra that only monetary policy can be used to manage the economy? Do you have a mortgage? If so, would you prefer the 15% interest rates the Conservatives forces on us in 1992? Would you prefer the 11% inflation they gave us at the same time?

Obviously we wouldn't, however that's what we're likely to have in any case (along with forever increasing taxes) with their policy of borrowing more and more money so we are more and more in debt - its got to be paid back from somewhere.

As said just wait a couple of years, interest rates will be heading towards double figures and taxes (direct and indirect) will be on the way up as well!!!!!!!!!

Though by then of course the Conservatives will be in power so they will get the blame for it as always, though in fact more times than not Labour get us into the **** and the Tories get us out of it.
