    Default Just bought a sponge for washing car!!!

    Well read enough about these now so going to give one a try, and for £6 why not. Hopefully arrive for the weekend so will keep you updated.

    Seen these in action at a couple of detailing meetings and they seem to work really well. I'll stick to the mitts too for now though until you report otherwise Rushy. They have A good press on DW.

    From reports, if used correctly it can be safer than a mitt. Having seen countless threads from Pro's and well respected amateur detailer's im confident. The mitt doesn't hit the car until it gets foamed and PH'd twice in the first place so the sponge will get the same treatment.

    I've been using one for a while now, well impressed by it. I prefer it to the wool mitts, It lifts the dirt off the car into the sponge.
