Default a reason why not to go under the car at this time

as my dpf was not regenerating i got mine done manualy,if you look at the temperature it is a very good reason not to get under the car even just after this finished,my car was parked on a wet concrete surface, the area under the dpf was very dry,as was the area where the exhaust silencer points to the floor, and the floor was very warm

i would say a lot hotter than 200 as there was enough heat to dry a large area under the car

DPFs aid Global Warming - literally. And spew out super concentrated noxious carcinogenic $hite into the environment. Definitely a step forward - not . Low emissions MOST of the time.

Not to point too fine a point on it, you don't really know what you're talking about.

The soot collected in the DPF is oxidised into CO2 at the extremely high temperatures created when extra fuel is added to the exhaust, after the main power charge, through a late injection event. The high temperature allows oxidation of the carbon with the excess oxygen coming out of the engine. (above about 600°C is the threshold for O2 oxidation)
