    Default Problems with the Sunglass storage mod.

    One of the first thing I had planned to to was to ungrade the Shade Store and Map light. Having had a few Vectras on hire I knew what to do. Then mine arrived:




    I took this with a phone but you can still see the problem. This plate is different to earlier models. There is no visible clip to remove the dummy plate. I cannot see a fixing method. Once this plate is off I reckon the rest will be the same. Short of ripping it out and doing damage, Has anyone else got this and how is it removed?

    Just put a screwdriver down the side and prize it off mate.Thats all i did.

    Yours was the same then?

    All the hire cars I've had had a plate with a clip a bit like A TV remote battery cover, I was a bit miffed when I saw mine!

    Nah mine was the same as yours mate.It comes off very easly..

    I bite my nails....nails are bad for playing bass anyway. I do However have in my hand a small Screwdriver. I'll have a go later when I head home!
