ABS/ESP Upgrade.

Am looking for a g force/yaw sensor and an esp/abs unit for my 08 plate vectra elite as am gonna attempt upgrading from abs to esp. Have emailed a couple of breakers on ebay and am gonna look on bluecycle at the weekend, any help would be appreciated though. Many thanks in advance.

you will need a new abs pump aswell as a control unit the esp ones have extra solonoids. i also think you will need a new cim as cars with the yaw rate sensor have the steering angle sensor in the cim and not in the rack as in your car ...

hmmm. I was looking on the wiring diagram and the pump and esp unit appear to be one and the same. Not sure about the cim though will need to investigate a bit further.

Benny, my SRi has a setting to calibrate the steering angle sensor so is that not done via the CIM then? if it was on the rack would the steering angle sensor setting be in the EHPS?

there is a sensor on the rack for esp,the racks are different
