Default rear fog lights on vec Estate

Here's a question, I'm certain that on the Vec-c Estate, both the rear fog lights work. Does anyone know if they do both work.

Also how do you remove the rear panel on the boot lid on the Vec-c Estate, so i can get a look at the wiring and also fit my TV tuner into the boot lid.

    Thanks all

Only one light works on the hatch/saloon and Signum - I'd have thought the estate would be the same? It's normal anyway and the same on lots of other makes.

Do you mean the interior trim on the tailgate?

    Hey Dunc.

Yep thats the one, i need to remove the trim on the tail gate. i can't see any visible screws to remove it.

I don't want to go pulling and breaking things.

Most European cars now have only one foglight which is normally on the drivers side and this is so not to confuse this light with the normal tail/brake lights. The Vectra estate should only have one foglight fitted although iirc the wiring etc should be there for the other light which would be for the left hand drive model.

I'm not familiar with the estate, but on the Signum on the interior grab handle there's a screw that needs removed and on the bottom edge there are a couple of expanding rivet fixing things. Then the trim just pulls off as it's attached by the sprung retaining clip things.

The estate may be the same sort of setup?

Yep, it's the same on the estate. You'll need to add a wire from the feed to the nearside fog light, from the offside one. (1 wire)

Think you might be right there as I've just remembered it has those on the Signum.
