RAC one is good, comes down the back, across the seat, then back up behind the front seats. Hard to find but worth the hassle.

Halfords do them but they are a bit tight sizewise. I used to use a small size car cover which was much better, especially as I got it for a few quid in a Halfords sale many moons ago.

I thought dogs had to put in a harness, and the harness then clipped onto either fixed seat belt or clipped into a seat belt point, to prevent any harm coming to the dog if you have to stop quickly or if your involved in an accident and also incase "rover" distracts you whist driving..

Our dogs are always put in a harness when we take them out in the car..

I bought some large rear seat covers from ebay, they are water proof and they weren't very expensive.. Have a look for 4x4 or offroad rear seat covers..
