Question Assisted Suicide yes or no ?

Do you think that assisted suicide should be allowed ?
If you were suffering, surely YOU can decide if you want to carry on with life or die when you decide to die ?

Have consideration for the deaf, if you're gunna fart, make it smell !

In some situation yes, I can agree.

Are we so inhuman as to let another person sit with no quality of life, possibly in pain and are not willing to help them end their suffering?

We do it with other animals, without their consent, so why not people who genuinely want to die????

For those people who are deemed fit and able to make that decision then my answer would be a resounding YES.

The issue is that possibly some people may be co-erced, or are unable to make a rational decision due to health reasons, safegards would be needed. When we start making decisions re. life and death choices where would it end. History has shown, that many a good idea at the time decisions, can turn out to be irreversable disasters. While arguing for the right to die, we MUST ensure we never lose the right to live.

Lets face it, there are hundreds of ways to commit suicide, even if one is quite weak and feeble its still easily possible to effect one's own demise. However, how do we ensure that those who are totally incapable of making the decision, do not lose their right to live!

Watched my father in law die of motor neurone disease, enough to make anybody understand why it should be allowed. 100% behind it but it must be in a well documented way organised by health professionals.

Because with people there can be a lot of other people who would benefit from their estate...

Where there is money... there is forged papers, fraud, pressure, lies and deceit etc....

How would you tell if someone had been pressured into suicide cos they had been told they were 'doing the right thing !!'

To many money grabbing scumbags in this world...
