I wondered if anyone can help, I have tried to find the centre dome wiring ribbon to fit the rear courtesy light into my 2006 Vectra SRi Nav hatch, but cannot find it. I have fitted one previously to my 52 plate SXI without difficulty as the ribbon was coiled under the white sticky patch. I did wonder if the ribbon might be lower down the pillar, but dont want to take the car apart if there's no point. If all else fails, I have considered running a live and earth to the lamp, but without the plug, the conection looks to be difficult. Any help would be appreciated, fastening a baby seat could be so much easier! Thanks

I have the same car mate, put simply, there isn't one. Just wire it up yourself from the front light. I did thisd, then got a new loom and fitted that as I wanted illuminated sun visors. HTH

When I initially wired it up think I used 5amp wire (for auto lighting from Halfrauds). Just soldered then onto the top of the plug where there is already some solder. Easy enough to do and worked a treat. Just don't do what I did and cut the hole in the lining too big!

Computer audio leads have the same plugs on the end although you may need to join a couple together if you can't find one long enough but it's safer than pulling the light to bits

Thanks for the advice everyone, I'm going to wire direct from the front light, presumably it won't cause the front one to be dimmer or fade more quickly? Also doesn't cause a bulb failure to come on, like when I wired reversing sensors, before I fitted a relay?

Thanks very much, I followed your advice and success, I've tried it and it works! I just need to lower the headlining again to thread the wire from the front light to the back - weather permitting tomorrow. Cheers
