Default Cold running on 1.8 vvt

Hi i have a 56 plate Vectra 1.8 (vvt engine) it's got 29,000 miles on the clock and when i start from cold under any kind of slow-mid accelaration it seems to stutter and struggle. It only does this from cold and it's showing up no lights. I take it this is going to be a garage job to get codes read, but wanted to check to see if theres anything i should look at first??

    Cheers

If there's no light, there's no codes.

How long does it take to clear the stuttering?

mine is like that but only for a few minutes and when its stone cold. You can feel it being a bit reluctant to rev, mostly in third around 2000 rpm. After a couple of minutes it feels fine. Its like the engine is saying 'bog of i,m cold' !

TO answer questions car was last serviced about 8,000 miles ago (i presume it says so in the book) IT takes the car about 2 minutes to stop doing this and about 10 minutes for the needle to move from the bottom of the guage on engine temperature.

Thinking of going down the route of changine the plugs and leads if need be wasnt sure if it was worth getting a stealer to look at it. Possibly warranty? but if it's plugs it'd just be wear and tear surely?
