    Default eon heating cover

I'm covered with eon central heating insurance and have had no hot water for over a week an engineer came last sunday and has orderd a new part but im still waiting . every day I phone them and all they tell me is its on order they will be in touch. do I have any redress?? . My other issues is i can get the part required and I can fit it, so should I do this and then wait for their engineer to turn up with their part then keep it and sell it on to recoup my costs.is this an option??

you always have redress, escalate this to the customer care director, aslo the ceo is Dr. Paul Golby, do not take a fob of from some middle management unless they give you a desirable date. more info here...

EON are completely useless! I've just moved out of a place after being there for 6 months. They were reading the wrong meter when I moved in - it took them 3 months + to actually send someone out. They missed at least 3 appointments - and credited my account with £20 each time. So in summary they have no idea how many units I used in 6 months and my account is £60 in credit. They appear to have paid me to use their electricity! bit of a result for me but they really need to get their act together!
