Default Is this all in my head

My tyre dealer swapped the Bridgestones over this morning for the XL rated Goodyears

On the way there (9 miles) the car felt like a jelly baby, (wibbly wobbly world of its own) it seemed that the tyres were giving too much when i turned corners and the ride felt VERY soft

after the tyres were swapped over, on the way back, the car felt a lot tighter, and ride was definately more solid feeling on the road

is this just down to the wrong rated tyres or was it like a placebo playing with my mind?

Tyre pressures were fine, they only blow them up to what you request, so they were all the same pressure on both journeys

maybe the tyres wernt seated properly...
just give it a few gentle miles as well before you give them any handling tests as it might bite you in the ar5e!

The Xl's do give a harder ride due to the thicker sidewalls
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
