    No, mine hasn't died on me. Had the Limp Home Mode this morning, but that is the first time it's ever happened. I'm just trying to figure what may have caused it, and this was one of the things I thought about checking out.

    what year of the vec does it mostly occur on?

    Sounds like yours has been done as all the plugs should be the same

    The externals of the plug are exactly the same, it's on the inside which plugs into the injector that has the yellow/green coating (looks almost like mould??)

    Default How to?

    Is there a "how to" on how to go about changing the injector wiring mod? Looked but cant fine one. If not can you take pictures on Monday and may be post a quick how to please? I think this may be the problem on my car too, I have just spent the morning cleaning the EGR valve and have checked the Swirl / Swivel valve on the engine that looks to be attached ok. My next step is the injector wiring mod. I have bought the field replacment kit for £11 but require instructions on how to fit what wire to where. Looks to me if I just bought a bag of wires and connectors.

    I've just been outside to take a look, and there are 2 wires going into the plastic clip. One Brown/Black and one Brown/White

    I've no idea which needs to be cut??

    Always cut the red one...! That's what they do in all the films?

    I would think that they will need cutting splicing and soldering then sealing.

    The pack contains 8 wires of different sizes and a new black connector.

    One end of the wires have small metal connectors on then with either yellow, blue or brown grommets. the other end is just cut. there is also a looses grenn grommet in the pack.
