URGENT: Everybody who has had issues with injection no.3 on the CDTI engine read this

So what is the actual fault with the no 3 inj.

SOmething to do with the actual wiring in the plastic plug that plugs onto the injector breaking up..

Not sure why its only no.3 - I think I remember someone saying that Vx think it may be to do with air flow over that perticular plug.

My engine number is above the number on that message, does that mean my loom should be ok, and that would be unlikely to cause my lack of power below 2k revs, sometimes juddery when cold and idling?

Hi can anyone provide me with the fitting instructions or links to a external site on how to fit the "field fix kit p/n 93189918". I have all the above mentioned symptoms and have just bought the kit from the local dealer for just £11.90. Thought it better to try this first rather than what vauxhall suggested changing the air intake pressure vaccum unit (or something similar) for £200+ plus fitting? Error code has been showing p2279. sypmtons are lack of power under 2k and lumpy engine, showing intermitant engine management lights and the spanner light on. Last week it was very similar to driving an old series 3 landrover.

Had my vectra 1.9cdti SRI 150bhp a little over 6 months, since weather has been cold I've noticed a slight shudder when started from cold. To cut a long story short I have had the inlet manifold and egr valve replaced 3 days ago (cost £400 to myself as no-one would pay for it) as I was advised this was the problem. Since then car is still the same but I seem to be noticing the shudder when car engine is warm but I'm stopped at traffic lights etc. Had it to vx and they say manifold and egr did need replacing as rod had come off but now they can hear a slight noise on flywheel and the shudder could possibly be a blocked fuel injector and to try STP injector cleaner. I put this in 2 days ago and took it for a good last night but still the same. Garage that done manifold said possibly injectors or turbo but inpeller in turbo ok.

Anyone got any idea? Starting to pull hair out

Garage did noy config manifold through computer as said you don't need to could this cause anything?

How long should I give cleaner to work?

When was your car first registered and what's your mileage?

Well your engine number means that you need the injector wiring mod done then

I've just been out and had a look at my 3rd injector, and there is a visible difference between the 3rd and the rest. 1,2 and 4 look good as new, but the 3rd one has what appears to be a green/yellow coating over the plastic plug.

Worth changing?

does the engine die out at any speed,or is it more likely to happen at a high speed.i think this happened to me last nite
