    Friend of mine at work is having identical problems with his 1.9 150. I suggested he give the dealers a nudge in the direction of the injector wiring loom, but apparently there are no problems known to Vx about this....

    He's currently on about his 10th visit back for the same problem, they're trying to fob him off and say that it's not running lumpy, it's just a diesel...

    Complaint: Customer complaint about jerking sometimes SVS lamp on and DTC P0201-P0204 set.
    Cause: Software and / or fretting corrosion on injector plug.
    Production: Modified wiring harness has been implemeted in production as of engine numer: Z19DTH17000444.

    Remedy:
    In case of customer complaint reprogram ECU according TSB 1849 before changing any parts.
    If TSB 1849 will not cure the problem install field fix injector plugs (partnumber 93189918 / cataloguenumber 62 86 769).
    Mentioned Field fix kit does not contain of a 1,5mm² wire as mentioned in TIS 2000 wiring diagram.
    In case of concern please use 2,5mm² instead.

    can anyone help me , i have a 56 plate sri 150 cdti when i start tha car in the mornings from cold it smokes like an old cortina and runs very lumpy for about a minute then clears . It has been to VX several times and they say theres nothing wrong with it . I should also say it has had 2 injectors a manifold and swirl pot done about a year ago. I am getting very frustrated about the problem and VX dont seem very interested .

    See the post above yours and get the work done and see if it solves your problem. If it cures it and you reported the fault when you car was under warranty you would have a case for a claim against VX for the cost even. Is yours still under warranty?

    Hi everyone,this is my first ever post.
    Just had inlet manifold done due to e/m light and spanner,out of warranty 50%paid by vx,ok for one day then same identical faults leading to limp home mode again,back to dealer diagnosed as no3 injector connnector so in my mind did not need manifold,looked at swirl valves on old unit and look perfect.Car currently at dealers waiting for all injector connections to be replaced asked for money back on manifold job as mis diagnosed,they refused....I will take it further

    Hi just got mine back from dealer,replaced wiring and plugs to all four injectors,looks a tidy job on the surface but god only knows how they joined it to the main loom!!Dealer still will not refund cost of manifold job but did not charge for this fix and offered big discount on cam belt replacement next service.Did find one engine cover rubber missing,hose not put on correctly and a broken clip for wiring.They are going to remedy these as well.Only done 6miles so far so can only hope its finally fixed for good.
