Default Alarm siren - moving to bonnet area

The poor Vectra alarm gets a lot of stick for its quietness

Having disconnected the siren whilst the alarm was active, I know it is loud, just badly positioned.

So it's going under the bonnet (somewhere) but I've had a look round and can't see any easy/obvious ways to get the extended cables from the pasenger compartment via the bulkhead and in to the engine bay.

Any pics or info as to where to push the cables through the bulkhead (preerably n/s) would be useful

Have you tried simply disconnecting the siren? Some Vecs will then use the horn to sound the alarm, by default.

Mine does and many other do too.

If you remove the rubber weather strip near pollen filter, then lift scuttle panel on passenger side, you will see the grommet in the corner of the bulkhead
