Hi folks,

Need to get some valuable info from other members who may have already "been there, done that"!

I had my car in with vx last week for a winter safety check and they noticed that the NSF spring was broken. After being quoted £185 to replace it i thought i may aswel look for a complete lowered kit, on searching the net and reading posts on this site i'm still very much undecided. I have been advised that the standard suspension on my car is the "sport" suspension?? I'm keen to get this sorted asap as i know i'm taking a chance driving it the way it is.

So my query's are:
  • How much should i lower by
  • What kit would give me best ride height / handling / affordability
  • Do i need to consider my current "sport" suspension setup i.e would it cause any warning lights to be illuminated if i don't go with vx replacement parts
Any other general recommendations are welcomed

Thanks,
