    Smile HiD's now fitted

Well I do feel a bit of a plumb as when I first tested these a month ago the bulb warning came on

Now realised that I had managed to fit one of the cancellers to the ballast the wrong way round!!!! what a plonker!

All fitted and very pleased. I followed Green Growlers general how to but only as far as getting the bulbs held well in the lamps.

Took an hour from start to finish I managed to secure the ballasts between the outer and inner wing to the side of the lamps as you look at the car. No holes drilled as a very snug fit.

NO bulb warnings at all Just waiting for it to get darker now so I can go and play

I went for 6000k as thats whats generally recomended.

I have 6000k in my Motorbike and that is unreal

As I understand it the higher the K's the less actual light you get as it goes to a blue then 12k being purple.

I also replaced the little sidelight 501's with some blueish ones that are supposed to look good at night..... we will see

Will post up some pics when its dark.

I have yet to find some 501 sidelights that even closely matches my HiD's - but I have 8K HiD's.

Well I will try and take a decent pic tonight to show the effect of the sidelights.

They were recomended by someone on here from ebay.

I think this is them http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ULTRA-ICE-WHIT...1%7C240%3A1318

My HiD's are from there too, and I can confirm they are very good indeed.
