Exclamation Trouble fitting stereo fascia to Vectra C

    Hi there,

I'm trying to fit my JVC in my Vectra C (52 plate) I've removed the standard VX stereo and the cage and I'm trying to fit the fascia and it just isn't happening. I've tried and tried and just can't get it to slip into place.

Does anyone have any tips or guidance? I'm keen to get this sorted been without a stereo now for over a week

    Thanks

Are you certain that you have the correct facia adaptor as there are two versions of it that I know about, one for the cars from 2002 up until the end 2004 and another for Jan 05 on. Maybe worth checking up at the place you got the facia adaptor.

The interior of the car didn't change with the facelift AFAIK... Have you definitely got the fascia for a 2002 vectra C and not a 2002 Vectra B?

It will fit mate. It seriously takes a lot of time and effort to get it in. I must have spent hours in my car trying to get it to fit. Patience is the important thing! Thats the same one I bought, from the same chap.

What is the existing stereo you have fitted?

Any chance you could take a photo? I'm pretty sure this is the correct fascia. I have a 52 plate vectra and I bought the same thing.
