    Default flakes in the snow!

    Hi,
    first time out in the snow with my car this morning, & OMG struggled to get to the main road, anyone else have problems with 19" alloys ? (& yes , i can drive in the snow, my old vec b was v good!)

    I had same probs mate with 17" rims & almost new bridgstones, (P155 poor tc) my Vec b was great in the snow & i have never had any probs before (see thread lol... http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=63578 )

    Yep, the wider the tyres, the less grip you'll have in the snow

    Ideally we all need 15" steelies for winter!

    Also a lot of 19+18" tyres will be 'summer' tyres,anything below 6 degrees and they won't work so well.

    How did your car feel after saturday afternoons karting Paul ?
    Mine felt like i was on ice !
    Just shows how much grip a kart has.
