    Default Tyres!!

Yet another tyre thread, SORRY !!!

I remember not so long back, some of you mentioned a tyre that had an extra chunky looking sidewall, I think it was a Goodyear tyre

I need new tyres, and as a mate of mine works at a tyre dealer, I get them for cost price plus a drink

Im going for 225/45x17 this time

Although I hate the very name of Goodyear, If there gonna last ok and be good to drive with, then I can bow down to them, Do they need to special marked tyres as the Signum is 3.0 and needs the XL variant

Failing that, is there any other decent make to go for, Continental are out cos there the worst tyre ive ever had on my bike so wont even consider them on the family vehicle

The Goodyear F1 GSD3 tyres are a favorite modd on here and I run these aswell. These make a huge difference to the car

The Goodyear Eagle F1-Asymmetric is a good square, chunky looking tyre. Good handling, too, but I found them a little miserable for wear.

I'll try and find a pic of the Eagles on my Astra, in the 225-45-17 size, you should get an idea of how they look.

Not a great pic, best I can do for you though. They're a lot chunkier than the Bridgestones in the same size.
