Can anyone tell me if its possible to retro fit traction control to my 08 vectra, If it is what is involved in doing it. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance
Cheers

think ANDY.L is looking into it mate.....mr loom as he is known as he has retro fitted alsort's into his and other car's
Kl. have spoke to him about bluetooth already, will ask him about this also.
Surely you mean retro-fit the TC 'off' switch? AFAIK all vectras come with TC as standard...
I think its only the 1.8 that it does not come with standard
Some early facelifts (up to early 2006 I think) had TC fitted as standard on all engines except the 1.8 petrol, exactly as on the pre-facelift. Since then TC has only been available from VX as part of the ESP or IDS-plus options, and ESP is only standard-fit on V6-engined Vectras. So if you have a facelift from early 2006 onwards and it hasn't got a V6 engine, and you haven't got ESP or IDS-plus then you don't have TC. Simple as. AFAIK ESP is standard across the range on Opel Vectras. This anomaly should be sorted on the Insignia as ESP is standard across the range.

I used to have a May 2006 150 cdti sri and that didn't have traction control. My new one has as it is now V6 cdti sri.
Mine is JUNE 06 cdti 120 and it hasn't got the traction control.
