Sorry to sound a bit thick but took delivery of a SRi 1.9 CDTi yesterday with CD70 headset. It shows aux option in the audio selections but I can't find the 3.5mm socket location! Any ideas where I should be looking ?
Thanks

just above the ashtray.. there it should be i the "little compartmet"
it think its only in cars 2007 - onwards
How do you select the aux on the cd70, in the volume settings, I have external in, but can't seem to find it, does it "sense" when there is an auxiliary input, or is it a trip to the dealers for a wallet lightening session?, car is Jan 05, so its probably a 2004 head unit.
Thanks
Mark,
ps, sorry to hijack the thread, but it is on the same topic.
Ive got the cd70 head unit on a 2007 car but can not find a aux anywear is it me or will it be in any other place
Picture stolen from MattB's thread, but I think the aux socket is the one under the fan speed control on the right:
aye thats tha aux plug same as mine
Nope not got one of them can one be fitted in after !!!
but mines the same head unit on a 07 plate car
There is a thread on here somewhere about retro fitting to a CD70 headunit, and I don't think it can be done if you have an older CD70 unit. Not sure for the newer ones. Worth doing a search for that thread.
Strange, I don't have the socket but can access the aux input on the CD70 Audio selections. Someone said some sockets are fitted in the glove box ? Does anyone have experience of this ?
Thanks
Steve
