    Default Summer Tyres

Hi, Do you guys change your tyres to winter ones at this time of year or do you stick to summer tyres/ all season ones? Was just thinking the other day if you were to buy winter tyres, and have summer ones it would cost you a fortune, what are your thoughts????

Was was thinking about 4-seasons ones, because where I work is pretty high up and gets a bit of snow and reasonable frost. But currently running summers (NCT5 on the front, ER300 on the back).

Was going to pick up a set of these:

I make sure I have two new front tyres about the end of October, just as the roads become slippy with leaf mulch
These last me to about February, when the snow ends and they are worn out

Kinda depends on how many miles you're doing, doesn't it?

4 months is about 15K miles on my front tyres, 5mm to 3mm of tread, which is about normal

If I could afford to have a spare set of wheels with winter tyres, I would, without a doubt. Oh, and the space to store them...
