Default does anyone know were to get two pack paint

hi, i recently came back to my car which i had left in tesco`s car par park to find the corner of the rear bumper scratched. i have a mate who says he can spray it for me, if i can get two pack paint. i am having trouble finding this anywhere. does anyone know were i can get some about half a litre. in silver lightning? he has told me he cant paint it with water based paints as he would need a oven to harden the paint. i was looking the front bumper sprayed as well. so think that would be to big a area to dry with a hair dryer. any comments would be apprecieted

As far as I am aware the use of non water based paint is now illegal under EU law. Could be wrong tho. I am sure my mate uses water based paint without needing an oven but again I could be wrong and normally am lol

you are better off sending a sample of the paint colour if you are not painting the whole car as matching a colour is very hard even with the paint code.

i took my car to a vauxhall garage to get it done..... speak to one of the bodyshop guys and you might get it done on the cheap silver lightning is a popular colour so they might do it at night for you when the garage is closed and the manager is away

I think you can still buy and use two pack paint if its not in industry (e.g classic cars etc) But don't think you'll get it in silver lightening anyway. Even if you get it mixed it doesn't look right compared to water based, the light sort of shines though the newer paints more if you know what I mean....

You can still get the older paints, one reason would be for an old car.
