    Default De-badged vectra c rear chrome strip

    today i removed the 2.2 badge from the chrome strip that runs across the boot lid,when i had cleaned all that black sticky bogey like substance off i was stll left with a like shadow of the badge!!! anyone any ideas on how to get rid of it? have tryed tar remover,white spirt,cillet bang and its still there.if it wont come off can you buy the chrome strip seperate and hows it fit?

    i did mine with autosol buddy and you would never know there had been a badge there

    Use a hair dryer - should work. It works on paint as it is simply damp underneath the clearcoat

    Righto had the very same when i took mine off..i used some old brass cleaner i had under the sink for 10'000 years..you know what ,it worked a treat...and if you need to buy some its only a sqiud or so from poundstrecher gd luck.

    AutoGlym Super Resin Polish - works a treat, takes about 2 mins... easy..

    Removes the outline if removing the griffin badge also.... and whilst your there give the whole car a going over I did and looks great now - lol
