How reliable ae the 2ltr Turbos fitted in the vectras and signums?

Any issues you should be aware of when looking to a buy noises, rattles turbo should be replaced when?

Reason i ask i have found this and with the styling and the decent price i am very very tempted by it 120miles away from me though so cant 'nip' for a look i need to clue up before i do

Thats alot of car for that price...i would jump at it ..i have same engine in my car and only problem (if you can call it that ) is the timing chain rattling ..i would buy it and get the BSR Remap for it you will love it ..TBH i have spent more on my car on mods than the asking price for that one

Yeh i thought it looked a good motor for the money, i have £4k for a new car and TBH theres not much you can get for that so i started looking at Signums as a change from my Vectra, Really liking the look of that doesnt need any exterior messing nice and tidy.

i dont use my siggie very much, ive only done 25k ..but the average mph thingy on the computer is saying 26.1 mph which aint bad for town driving

Motorway I get around 40-45mpg at 70. In town around 18-25mpg. Combined she always tells me its between 28-30mpg.

Thats a nice car, but its been on Ebay a couple of times. I always wondered why it didnt sell TBH.

Apart from the chain which is a lot better than on the old 2.2's as it will last for a while the only problem is a squeeking, tweetering from the V-pulley tensioner.

Great engine and as Phil said get the BSR Stage 1 map

My computer says 32mpg. Drive efficiently and you can get good returns.

But I do have a bl00dy annoying rattle from somewhere at the moment... Not even VX can find out what it is! Seems a few people on here have it, or something like it...
