Default Meguiars Water Magnet- good or not?

I bought a Meguiars water magnet drier the other month and after washing the car I found the wife hasn't washed my trusted micro fibre drier!

So out came the Meguiars and I just seemed to be going around in circles- wiping wringing it out then wiping again and the car still wasn't dry!!!

So I had to find the wash basket and put my hand in to it and retrieve my trusty dirty micro fibre!! With this just one wipe totally dried even the bits I hadn't done with the meguiars and none of the continual wringing out as well!

My conclusion- it's probably worth £2 but certainly not the £10 or so charged!!!! If Meguiars want me to test any other products I'm here and waiting!

I have found a use for the Megs cloth now- wiping the mucky floor when I walk in with my wet shoes!!!!!

No, its on of these http://www.autobritedirect.co.uk/sho...773696436bbd65

It was supplied by Autobrite and I hold nothing against them as their service and other products I had were superb- just I expected a lot better from Meguiars!!!

Hmm That's what I use but I don't wipe the surface. I hold it against the panel and let the water draw into it. It works really well but It's not been washed yet. I do wring it out a lot which shows it's working I suppose.

Might get the other one now if it's that much better.

Won't vote as I by now means think it's superb but does the job OK. Not an option on the poll.

Bizarre! - I found the opposite. I wasn't impressed with it when I first used it but after washing it improved greatly.

Basically I put it flat on the panel and then the two corners nearest and slide it off the panel by pulling it.
