Best head-unit illumination colour match to std Dash...

I appologise for the slightly criptic thread title, but I am looking into getting a new head unit for my SRi (I want mp3, and being half-canbus need to move away from VX headunits) but I want to make sure that the new head unit matches both a) the colour of the dash (as best it can) and b) the illumination of the head unit match the dashboard and multi function display.

Does anyone have a non standard unit and finds it matches, pics would also be a brucey bonus

You could always do it the other way round - buy the HU you like & then have the dash illumination converted. I'm having mine converted to blue on Saturday. There's a thread going at the moment

My Kenwood double DIN (DPX-503U) can do any colour at all, but I found one of the presets matches perfectly.



Sounds awesome too. I also have the Kenwood Bluetooth unit fitted to it, and the iPod box is on the "happy christmas to me!" list.

Joking, nice, but am not wanting to spend a great deal, upto £200 max, and that Kenwood double DIN fits the bill perfectly.

mate can I ask if u had the steering wheel controller made along with the HU? what adapter did u use? thanks!
