Default Balanced and aligned - now what?

So from here, http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=63156, the balancing is now OK, the alignment has been checked and found to be spot on but the steering wheel is still off centre to the right when the car's going straight ahead.

Now some might say that I should swop the front n/s and o/s wheels around but the new Uniroyals have rotation arrows on them. So that put paid to that idea.

I might just swap the fronts for the rears and see what happens.

But if the alignment is OK, what causes the steering wheel to be off centre?

I'll let you read this http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62689

Early days yet mate so can't really comment. They're very quiet (compared to the NCT concrete ones ) and they got a lot of interest today when the fitters at ATS checked the alignment.

From what you've said above, you could be driving my car. I'm going to swap the fronts for the rears before there's any real signs of wear on the front. If I've still got the off centre s/wheel, I'll put them back as they were and live with the quirkiness. Shame they're directional but would have to be with that lovely tread pattern.

Will keep you updated in the future. Seems like it's just us two (at the moment) that run these tyres
