    Default Outside Temperature Sensor

I have replaced my outside temprature sensor as it was giving me some crazy readings (-35 degrees)

Since replacing it, it now reads correctly after settling down after a period of driving but still displays crazy readings when the car has been sat up for a period of time (say overnight)

Any ideas why or how to calibrate?

    Thanks

    hi
just an idea but try reconnecting it and disconnecting the battery for a 20mins.
make sure you have the code for the radio.

The new sensor could be faulty too

Have you checked the connector where it fits onto the sensor. It might be dirty inside it causing a bad connection.

Have you connected the positive to the negative, cleaned the connections, removed and debris that may be there or around them? Does it need tech2 in like hu?
