Guys TV help please???

Evening!

I need some help please?

I want to purchase a new TV and im ******ed if i know which one to go for..

Ok at the mo i have a 32" Philips HD Ready LCD
I want bigger thinking of a 37" or a 40"
I sit approx 10ft away from the TV
I mainly want it for PS3 gaming and Blue-Ray films
it has to be stylish
Approx to spend £550

????

1080p is over rated cos as of yet NOTHING is recorded in 1080p and wont be for a while yet.

Is an expence to add to not gain benefit as by the time you NEED it tvs will be more advanced and cheaper

what about games consols are they in 720 or 1080.

hi mate if you can up your money go for a samsung 50 inch on sale for 700pounds at currys it has a games mode for ps3 xbox or wii it f*****g amazing plus computor and sports mode take a look when i bought one 12months ago they where 1200 pounds
this one i got i sit 5 -8 ft away with surround sound in 1080 hp vision its mind blowing beleave me.
my next tv is on order will get in the new year its the new 76 inch sony and that is the f****** f*** f*** of all tvs the dogs b*****ks cant wait but did set me back 4000grand

I had a look at the sony while its a good price and a good spec you can not turn it off unless you pull the plug out of the wall otherwise you have to leave it on standby
