Default Bike driving school in NW area

I'd like to learn to ride a bike - 1.8VVT doesn't deliver enough adrenalin . I live in Southport and work in Liverpool, therefore I'm looking for a good motorcycle driving school in this area (Preston, Southport, Liverpool, Wigan, etc.). I'm a complete newbe with bikes so I'll need full 5-6 days course. Can you recomned me some resonable school with good teachers and nice price .

    Thanks.

    I used these guys.. http://www.riverviewrt.com/

Really good, I wanted more lessons but the guy said I was already good enough for the test (so could have taken more money off me but didn't), and he was right..passed first time.

    I used the Southport branch.

Thanks. Were they expencieve? Did you need your own bike, helmet, etc. or they provided you with them?

    What bike did you rode?

I kind of worried anything stronger then 10bhp will kill me . Is it worth to go straight to for instance to Honda CBF600 or is it better to start with its weaker sister 250?

OK, so what I need to do to drive a bike? I'm well above 21, got car driving licence for over 14 years. I drove a moped when I was about 14, but nothing else since then - for me it counts as no experience and i feel so .

I want to learn to drive a bike and I was thinking I need 5-6 days course before I go for a test. If it's possible I'd like to obtain one (A cat) but for every motorcycle and not to be limited to ccm or bhp. What do I need to do? Do I need to buy some bike and go on L-plates for some time or I can start my course, learn, pass (hopefully) the test and hop on my new bike?

By now I'm only confused with all those rules
