as I say please wait until you get it just incase it fall through, also if there is a charity close to your heart send it to them.

Just nice to think of others and if I had said it only cost you £50.00 for a year bet lots would still go for it

so a donation of £5 - £10 is nothing in the grand scale but to a charity every penny helps

I had sky 18 months ago and ok - classed as new customer but you cant cancel and re join

From that site...There's every chance that their system will flag up that a gazillion people have used the same employee's offer code and then they start to cancel all the planned installations that have used that code - all depends if Sky give a stuff about giving all the free boxes and subscriptions away.

Very much doubt they will cancell, ive curently got the top HD package half price for 12 months using a code for retail staff only and i dont work in retail , done this the past 2 years so have many many more people

Sky are in it for the long term to get customer numbers up and its a great way to get people signed up.

deanos, u cant have 2 accounts at the same address,so u cant just put in partners name if they live with u

just tried this out of curiosity, had a job understanding the terse sounding scottish git, but basically he wanted to know how i found out about this, so i told him a friend e mailed it to me. he asked if this 'friend' was a sky employee, i said 'er.....no, it was his friend who passed it on...'. he asked for the code, and my friend's name. i gave him the name of one of our fork lift drivers who i know has sky - well, it's all i could think of! and that code, he then said please hold while i check it out. and left me on hold for 5 minutes, so i gave up and hung up...
hot or not? i reckon not...

My brother called them today and they didnt even ask for a code. He just said that someone he knows had called them yesterday with a code for free sky plus for 12 months. They ok'd it and coming out tues to install it.

Yes you can because ive done it several times over the years, the last time was 3 months ago when i got SkyHD before we cancelled the other account , Sky was in the wifes name, i rang up and got SkyHD in my name, the wife rang up the following day to give her 30 days notice, the HD was installed a week later, so we had 2 accounts at the same address for 3 weeks until the contract ran out onthe old box

well....curiosity, and the chance of getting 'owt fer nowt made me phone back. this time got a nice scottish lady [who did talk equally fast i must say...], she asked for that code, but didn't ask who/where/how/why, just put it all through. being installed tuesday afto.
