How often should you get the Aircon Fluid changed as mine does not feel as cold as it used to

Re-gas recommended yearly by dealers IIRC. You should also run it at least 10mins a week throughout the year to keep the system lubricated and in good nick.

I run mine fairly regular, had it on for 2 weeks now, to help with misty windows and its still as cold as when I first got it, not been re-gassed yet. HTH

Off the top of my head I reckon a VXL dealer would charge £90. I may be corrected on that though.

My dad's Astra has just turned it's 7th birthday and has never had an AC top up. Still works fine.

My previous Vectra-C was still on it's original AC gas at 3+ years before I wrote it off.

If it still blows cold and there are no peculiar noises, then leave well alone IMHO.

Yeah, I think thats about right for a re-gas and leak check. Your local independant garage may do it cheaper or I think Halfords offer a refill service now?
