Community xmas party.

Do you have this sort of thing were you live. It's great fun. And plenty of mulled wine

Myself the wife and daughter went to this last year and we had a really good time. It's great for the estate to meet up and enjoy the party.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE ON THE GREEN
SUNDAY 14th DECEMBER 2008
We look forward to seeing you all on the Green again for this years Christmas Fayre. All donations will be gladly received.
Mulled Wine and Mince Pies paid for by the donations from the summer event - thank you to everyone who contributed.
Events Planned include:
Mulled Wine
Mince Pies
Santa's Grotto(Santa will be arriving at 5.30pm and with us for 30minutes)
Parents - bring your kids to enjoy the atmosphere, Home-made Mince Pies very welcome along with any drinks you would like to share.
All table heaters and brandy warmers would be very welcome

sorry to say but these things seem to be pretty rare and if they do happen they have a minority who seem to want to ruin it.

We would but non of our neighbours actually speak to each other

Oh and there are a few Jehova Witnesses in our street.......... which i may add were not until 2 years ago (tight gits)
Christmas for the kids right up til 2 years ago and then stopped !!! Just like that !!

My son got up that year and first thing he done was ask " What did you get for christmas " as you can imagine the boys face

We moved from last house due to polish everywhere.

I wish I lived somewhere where that would be possible. I used to live in a private flat complex and it happened all the time, not possible in the estate I live in now, pity, would be really good fun.

We have a BBQ party every summer and I invite the neighbours then they can't moan about the noise. I don't invite every neighbour, only the ones that say hello back when I walk to get the paper.
