Where do I start

Evening All,
Not sure where to start looking/replacing. Over the last couple of months I have noticed a decrease in performance on my V6 CDTi Signum. I have DT tuning box fitted. I've cleaned the air filter check hoses etc. but dont know where/what else to do. I have noticed that shes started smoking more (maybe its the dark evenings and it looks worse in cars headlights) doesnt drink oil. Shes got just over 115k so maybe just getting tired?

All help appreciated although I do appreciate that its not an easy one to answer without any testing.

Just looking for some advice really

Is it due for a service? The smoking is over fueling, probably due to the box you have fitted. It does look worse at night, have you noticed it during the day?

Not due to for a service for another 15k and its noticeable in daylight but no where near as bad

i notice on mine if i don't give it some welly in a while then do my siggy will puff a good bit of smoke out.
i personally would not put a box on mine for fear of wear and tear to engine componants and mine has 60k on it.
if the car was newer i might have put one on as it would still have been covered with warrenty if things went wrong

imo i don't think it should have a box on at 115k.

The DT box is whats making it smoke so much m8, I have one for my 1.9 cdti but took it off coz I was paranoid about all the smoke coming out of her arse, now she exhails fresh air in comparisson! Had her MOT'd last week, so running up to it I have been using Millers Diesel Power Sport 4 and the emissons were miles under what the car should be at standard, shes as clean as a whistle!

I do around 60miles a day and I dont hang about (thank god for a company fuel card). I was thinking off taking the tuning box of but I do I like the extra torque I get from it

Thanks for your replies and I will give the Millers Sport ago, nothing to loose
