hid bulbs can you change the type of bulb you have?

i have some 8000k bulbs fitted could i just simply change the bulbs to 600k?

As long as it's the same type of bulb then you can change to whichever K rating you want.

i changed my 6000ks to 8000ks so got some 6000ks there if your intrested in buying them

how come you changed them? my 8000k are too blue it looks like i have 2 sunbeds stuck to the front of the motor

i have 6000k and im very happy with these, just the right colour. i get my spare bulbs from ebay for around £15 the pair most kits have the same weathe prof connectors so most bulbs will fit most ballasts.

most oe hids are 4300k

Hids4u recommend 5000k as the brightest whitest light

anything above 5000k is just less light output and more blue

Anything above 8000k is- well- just sellotape a purple quality street wrapper to your headlamp, and you get the idea.

in a nutshell- 5000k= most light

6000k= most sstylish blue light

8000k= chavvy plod magnet
