    confused Anyone help me out

    Picked my car up on sat new tyre fitted drivers side for the mot.When I test drove the car all quiet no problems old tyre still on.Since I got the car I've noticed a droning noise coming from he front were the new tyre lives on certain road surfaces nothing.I'm going to change the front tyre's for bridgestones and hopefully all will be well.The tyre fitted is a federal anyone else had these problems ???with budget tyre's ?.If the noise is still there wheel bearing to be replaced under warranty if it goes cheapo tyre's no good for the vec c.If anyone can give me there views much appreciated Paul.

    Its probably the tyre. The budget brands are much noisier normally than the top brands. i had some matador mp45's. Soooooo noisy it was unreal.

    Default noisy tyres

    Yep i had the same problem when i had 4 new budget 'Fullrun' tyres fitted.That also sounded like wheel bearings were going.I have still gone for budget tyres now but they are a different make and tread pattern and so much quieter,how does £92.50 inc p&p for two 215/50/17's sound ?.They grip well in all conditions and they are the correct speed and load rating.Got them off ebay,and had the local garage fit them for a few quid.All in all better than Goodyears,Michelins, Dunlops which are well overpriced and no better.

    good price mate I no a tyre fitter who'l give me a few quid for mine and traded against bridgestones 16" £40 the pair virtually brand new. I really hope this solves the problem thanks for your feedback matey.Are all veccy c's prone to this ?

    My xp2 has bridgestone RE040's I think and they are shocking for tyre noise so it not just the cheap ones that suffer from road niose
