Which Vectra shall I get?

I'm after buying a new Vectra, but I'm stuck on which model to get...

I like the rear of the SRI with the plastic diffuser, and also the dark style headlights.

Is it worth going for the SRI, or is there things with the Design I'll be missing?

It'd be nice to have traction control, and a MP3 CD player. A six changer MP3 CD would be nice, which comes with the Design, IIRC?

I also want cruise control.

i favour the SRi, but that's just me. the equipment isn't overly generous though, granted. i'm not fussed with 6 cd players, i like the single ones - put a disc in, play it, take it out and put another in.

they all have cruise control, even the LS. my 2.2 has TC, not sure about the other models.

Is it possible to get a SRI, and then pay the dealer for a CD40, which is the six disc MP3 player, isn't it?

Is the SRI a MP3 player too? If it is, I'll be happy with just one disc.

Why not look at a sri nav and you will have the CD70 mp3. Or do you want the 6 cd. If you get the CD70 you can do away with all the cd's and just have a few mp3's.
What sort of engine are your looking for ?

If i were you i'd buy this one or one like it,great spec and has the 2.0 turbo lump in it,add the BSR kit for extra fun.......

with the deals they are doing to sell vectras just now i would go for the sri xp2 and try your luck and see what they will throw in to clinch a deal

I heard the sat nav was a bit crap, but I'll maybe look into it. Even just a one disc MP3 player would be fine, as I have a 1 disc DVD player at the moment, and I just change CD's when I'm bored.

I take it the standard CD30 doesn't have MP3? I think I had the CD30 in my Corsa-D, and it could play MP3 CD's?

I'm after the 150 1.9CDTi model.

I'll bear that in mind. This is why I'm after a Vectra, because of the deals, with the new Insignia coming out. Any pictures of a Vectra with the XP2 kit on?

I have the 1.9 CDTi SRI 150 with the CD70 Sat Navi.

All i can say is that it's brilliant. There is nothing wrong with the sat nav, it does it's job, i've used it a fair few times now.
It also works mp3 cd's as i've put all my albums onto one cd and it's in my cd player

I like the look of the car aswell but looking at some of the irmscher and VXR parts for it

I do like that! so much so that I've put a bid in. Do you think it pay me to spend a few pounds and do a few checks of my own before it ends, or would you take their word for it, in the listing info, ie. they state no Hpi issues. what do you think?

What sort of price do you think this will go up to. ? What max price would you set to go up to.?

Any advice appreciated, as I've never bought a car on-line before.

The CD70 is fine once you sort the destination. It's just the input that's a pain because of the 5 digit post code. The 2008MY Design has the CDC 40 which will play Mp3s too. The Sri has the CD30 Only. Not the CD30 MP3.

I have an XP2 Nav. The black V, Chrome fogs surrounds and honeycomb grilles have been retrofitted.

Snowflakes are a £400 option. Mine has the standard 18" wheels. You also get the VXR steering wheel and gearknob inside as well as Aux input for the CD70
