Looking good mate
i did the same to mine mate , changes the look of the car , did you have any trouble doing them mate
Cars looking good Don! Spraying is easy if you take your time!
-I would start with a couple of thin layers of high build primer to get rid of the little bump things, when its dry, use 1200 wet/dry to smooth it out.
-Then you need to use a grey primer, again 1 or 2 thin layers so it just covers the high build primer, when its dry 1200 wet/dry
-When its completely smooth all over, spray some really, really thin layers of colour paint, you dont have to spray loads, just a very quick spray over, start spraying off the surface you need colouring so you dont get a lump of paint on one part, build up the layers until completely covered then give one more. When completely dry 2000 wet/dry
-Thin layer of clear coat just to cover then your done!
Make sure when applying the coloured paint you do it under heat or it will dry dull and matted. Halogen lamps are very good for this, try to avoid using the mrs hairdryer
This is how i did my engine cover and its come out very well
HTH
If your about sometime, come over and ill give you a hand
