    Default Painting artex ceilings

Any tips for painting these? As it I've got 2 rooms both approx 17' square to do which will take ages with a brush, tempted to skim over them and use a roller but SWMBO likes the appearance of the artex, so I guess we're keeping it.

Just use a good quality roller and a decent paint. If they have not been painted before some of the tips will break off so make sure you cover everything.

    Dead easy to do.

It will cover no problem but I learnt a long time ago to not bother with cheap paint. Dulux and Crown are the only ones I use now. As said will probably need two coats.

Doing our hall, stairs and landing over the weekend. We should put up the Pics.

Yeah cheap paint has a poor density.
However i do find it useful doing a coat or two in cheap paint to reveal any imperfections, however not much use on artex but decent on interior walls
