Engine Temp?!?

Hi

Just interested what sort of engine temps people have registered when A) Crusing at 75 B) Around town C) Pushing on a bit ?

Mine (v6) always seems to be just below 90 no matter what driving I do.

86 I think is normal running temp IIRC on my V6 CDTi and I don't think I've ever seen it above 90

Approx 79 -80 degrees on cruise control at 70 mph.

Ask for a bit more for overtaking and it will go up to approx 82.

It does go up to 85ish in the summer but never above 90 IME during driving.

The fans cut in on my 1.8 when idling when the temperature reaches approx 92 and cuts out again once approx 87 is reached.

About 85 once it's warmed up (which takes over 6 miles - it's a cdti 150).

Just pootling up the town and back it never even gets off the bottom stop, sodding thing!

Mine is always at 89

My 2.2DTI sits about 80 + - a couple of degrees if heater on full or v cold outside etc, but as a whole pretty static on 80.
