    Default CD70 Aerial Socket

Pardon me, if I'm missing something, or maybe I'm just plain daft, popped my cd70 HU out to connect in a Harmon Kardon Ipod thingy, and its got 2 Fakra connectors, one white , one blue, I'm presuming one is for the Nav, and the other is for the FM, am I right in thinking its the blue one for FM, I'm loathe to just try it, as it will probably burn out the headlights and central locking or something.
Any help will be greatly received, bring back my MK1 Cav, had about 6 wires and fuses for the whole car.

    Thanks
    Mark

I have just fitted one of these and fitted all of the gubbins behind the heater controls and then disconnected and re-routed the Aux in up there to make a permenent connection via a 3.5mm - 3.5mm jack lead, much better than relying on the RF interface quality is always perfect. And if you're really keen you can ut another AUX in connector and replace the one you remove and wire it into the Aux in of the Drive + play

Ps I think its the white one from memory.

Cheers Paul, I haven't got a jack plug on mine,(well I'm pretty sure I haven't) or I would have done the same, what year is your car, mine is an 05/54, a mate had one in a mondeo and said the wired rf connection is ok, much better than the wireless, if you happened to take any pics of your install, and could knock them on, it would be great, I'll be sticking the HK in, a sony ericsson bluetooth phone kit, and a hidden 12v socket to have my phone charger permanently plugged in under the dash, all at the same time, was wondering about the aerial socket, as the fakra adaptors I have bought have blue plugs on.

    Cheers

Does the sticker on the top of the unit not indicate which one's which?

Didn't check the label on the top as it goes, pulled it out when I had a spare 5 mins, for a quick scope, I'll give it a go next week, when I next get a child free day off, its lovely that they want to be Daddie's little helper, but in reality, its not really "help". Thanks Johnny, now means I can put it in and hopefully should work.
